The fifth edition of the Workshop on Continuous Optimization in Riemannian Manifolds will take place in Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, from May 3 to 5, 2027, and will be organized by the Optimization Group of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). The Workshop is an international forum for researchers, faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, and students to present and discuss recent advances in continuous optimization, with particular emphasis on optimization on Riemannian manifolds.

The scientific program will cover theoretical, algorithmic, and computational aspects of Riemannian optimization, including first- and second-order methods, constrained and nonsmooth optimization, multiobjective optimization, proximal methods, complexity analysis, structured matrix problems, and applications in machine learning, data science, signal processing, computer vision, and scientific computing. Contributions on related topics in mathematical optimization are also welcome.
