Invited Speakers

The scientific program will include six invited plenary lectures delivered by distinguished researchers with recognized contributions to continuous optimization, Riemannian optimization, and related areas.

The invited plenary speakers are:

• Alejandro Jofré — Universidad de Chile, Chile

• Boris Mordukhovich — Wayne State University, United States

• Ernesto G. Birgin — Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Brazil

• João Carlos de Oliveira Souza — Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI), Brazil

• João Xavier da Cruz Neto — Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI), Brazil

• María Laura Schuverdt — Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina

The participation of researchers from institutions in the United States, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil reflects the international scope of the Workshop.

In addition to the plenary speakers, the scientific program will include other invited and contributed presentations by researchers working in continuous optimization, Riemannian optimization, and related areas. The names of these speakers and the corresponding presentation titles will be announced as the scientific program is finalized.
